every day people like you went to someone's damaged home to help a
family in need. But we don't just wait for disaster to strike. Red Cross
volunteers work to prevent and prepare for emergencies by providing
education and training for their neighbors and friends. There is a place
for you at your Red Cross. Responding Around The World: Whether a major earthquake rips through a South American city or a hurricane slams Hawaii, Red Cross volunteers provide disaster relief for the victims of disaster.
